Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

North Pole Note ("we") operates northpolenote.pages.dev. This policy explains what we collect when you create a Santa letter and how we use it.

Information you provide

We store the details you enter to generate a letter (such as a child's first name, age, and accomplishments) along with the generated letter text so you can unlock and print it later. If you leave your email during checkout setup, we store it to send unlock instructions.

Technical data

We log page views and tool events (with a random session id), referrer host, and a hashed form of your IP address for rate limits and abuse prevention. We use Cloudflare Turnstile and Cloudflare Web Analytics.

Retention

Letters and logs are kept only as long as needed to operate the service and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion by replying to any email we send you.

Children

The site is meant for parents and guardians. Do not enter information you are not comfortable storing for letter generation.
